Description
The Namiri Plains in the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, are famous for their cheetah sightings. On this beautiful morning, the sun was up and a family of cheetahs rested on a termite mound, basking in the warm rays of the East African Sun.
As a cute cube performs its morning stretches, its mother sits alert and keeps a lookout for prey: potential breakfast! Cheetahs will hunt daily when cubs are young and need to be fed. The elevation offered by termite mounds makes them good vantage points for cheetahs to scan the otherwise flat landcape and hone in on potential prey.
