The rainy season in the Masai Mara creates beautiful dramatic lighting conditions. In this particular instance, we came across a lone masai giraffe walking gracefully in the wild savannah of the Masai Mara, Kenya and the evening sun was hitting its skin showing beautiful golden hues against a dark sky in the background. It was really good contrast and this is the black and white version of the scene.
I am a Kenyan photographer with a bias towards wildlife and nature photography who considers it a privilege to capture these moments in the wild, and a joy to share them with you. I am forever grateful for each like and comment and humbled by every follow, as it motivates me to take more photos.
