In the wild savannah of the Masai Mara, Kenya, we came across this handsome cheetah during our afternoon game drive. He was resting under the shade of a tree, and momentarily sat up alert in grass, allowing me to take his portrait. I love this pose and the neutral expression on his face. We hung around him and his brother for most of the afternoon. It was quite interesting to watch them as they are big cats and although wild, they do exhibit a lot of other cat like behaviour, like napping, play fighting, grooming each other as a way of bonding, etc.

I am a Kenyan photographer with a bias towards wildlife and nature photography who considers it a privilege to capture these moments in the wild, and a joy to share them with you. I am forever grateful for each like and comment and humbled by every follow, as it motivates me to take more photos.
